Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 September 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and OS Seller. By creating an account, signing in, installing the OS-Scraper extension or otherwise using our services, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
1. The services
“OS Seller”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the services described here. The services are:
- OS Seller app (seller.os-seller.com): a web application that helps marketplace sellers run their shop operations — orders, products, stock, purchasing from suppliers, and money in and out — using data from the seller’s own marketplace shop, currently Shopee through the Shopee Open Platform;
- OS-Scraper: a browser extension that reads marketplace pages you open in your browser and shows you the data on them;
- os-seller.com: our public website, including the email list for launch news.
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use the services for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business, and “you” includes that business.
- You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for all activity under your OS Seller account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
- A shop owner may invite other people (for example staff) to a shop and decide what they may do. The shop owner is responsible for the people they invite and for removing access that is no longer needed.
- You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Your marketplace accounts
When you connect a marketplace shop, you authorise us to access that shop through the marketplace’s official interface, within the permissions you grant, and to act on your instructions (for example, reading orders or updating stock). You confirm that you are entitled to connect the shop.
You remain solely responsible for your marketplace accounts and for complying with each marketplace’s terms, policies and seller rules, including rules on automated access and on the use of buyer data. Marketplaces may change or withdraw their interfaces, and may restrict or suspend accounts under their own rules; we are not responsible for such decisions. You can disconnect a shop at any time, and you can also revoke our access from the marketplace side.
4. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:
- use the services in breach of any law, including consumer-protection and personal-data-protection law, or in breach of a marketplace’s terms;
- use buyers’ personal data obtained through the services for any purpose other than fulfilling and administering their orders, or sell, publish or misuse it;
- use the OS-Scraper extension to collect data at a volume or in a manner that a website prohibits, to overload a website, or to collect personal data you have no lawful basis to process;
- access or try to access accounts, shops or data that are not yours, probe or bypass our security, or interfere with the services;
- reverse engineer, copy, resell, or build a competing product from the services, except where the law expressly allows it;
- upload or transmit malware or unlawful content.
We may investigate suspected breaches and take proportionate action, including suspending access.
5. Your data
You keep all rights in the data you and your marketplace shop bring into the services (“Your Data”). You grant us a limited licence to host, copy, process and display Your Data only as needed to provide, secure and support the services for you and as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell Your Data and do not use it for advertising.
For personal data of your buyers, you are the controller and we process it on your behalf and on your instructions, as set out in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for that processing and for handling your buyers’ requests about it; we will help where reasonably possible.
You can ask for an export of Your Data, or its deletion, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. OS-Scraper extension licence
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the OS-Scraper extension in your own browser for use with the services. The extension loads parts of its functionality from our servers when it runs, so it needs an internet connection and its behaviour may change as we update it. You may remove the extension at any time from your browser’s extension settings. You must not modify, redistribute or use the extension outside these Terms.
7. Early access, fees and payment
OS Seller is in early access. During early access, the services may be offered free of charge, to a limited number of users, and with features that change or are removed. Early access does not create a right to continued free use.
If we introduce paid plans, we will publish the prices and payment terms and tell you before any charge applies. You will not be charged unless you choose a paid plan. Paid terms, when announced, will be part of these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
The services, including their software, design, text and brand, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms give you no rights in them other than the right to use the services as described. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Third-party services
The services work with third-party services that we do not control, including Google (sign-in), Shopee (marketplace data) and the websites you visit with the extension. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or changes they make that affect the services.
10. Availability and changes to the services
We work to keep the services available and accurate, but they may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces the services you rely on, we will tell you in advance where reasonably possible.
11. Disclaimers
The services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Figures shown in the services — such as stock levels, costs, fees, profit and estimates — are calculated from the data available to us, which may be incomplete, delayed or later changed by the marketplace. They are aids to your decisions, not financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. You remain responsible for your business decisions and for checking important figures against the marketplace and your own records.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, arising from or in connection with the services;
- our total liability for all claims arising from or in connection with the services in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the services in that period and IDR 1,000,000.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
13. Indemnity
You will compensate us for losses and reasonable costs arising from third-party claims caused by your breach of these Terms, your breach of law, or your use of a marketplace account or of buyers’ personal data in breach of the rules that apply to them.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the services at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law or by a marketplace, or if continuing would create a security or legal risk; where reasonable, we will give notice and a chance to fix the problem. We may also discontinue the services with reasonable prior notice. After termination we will delete or return Your Data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 5, 8, 11, 12, 13 and 15) survive.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We will first try to resolve any dispute amicably through good-faith discussion. If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may bring it before the competent district court in Indonesia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your place of residence.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify account holders in the app or by email before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the services after the changes take effect means you accept them; if you do not accept them, stop using the services and close your account.
17. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the services. If a provision is held invalid, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganisation, merger or sale of the services, with notice to you. These Terms are published in English and Indonesian; both versions are intended to have the same meaning, and if they differ, the Indonesian version prevails to the extent required by Indonesian law.
